Perhaps this entry should be entitled Is this blasphemous?
First, some background: though the idea of donating more time and money for charity is always on my list of priorities, the only unforced contribution I have made in the last year is to FastTrack Movies.
One of the problems when using Kazaa (or any FastTrack network) is the lack of a mechanism to verify what one is downloading there is a built-in rating system, but I have doubts to its veracity. For small files this is not much of an issue, but DivX encoded movies tend to be in the range of 700 MB, so downloading junk can be a significant waste of resources. FastTrack Movies is a community site dedicated to providing verified links to movies on the network. Besides this service, it also alerts members when new verified files are added thereby introducing users to new films. One that has slipped into my mailbox recently is a filmed entitled Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. Is the idea of Jesus Christ as a Kung Fu action hero battling monsters funny or just insulting? I guess I will have to download the film to find out.
Btw, just because a film is listed on the website does not mean it is always available, but I have not had problems for long periods of time.
