Football Tales: Bright, Fowler, and Williams

This is from a couple of days ago, but when one post has three stories that interest you, why not mention it?

  1. There has been many ridiculously horrible incidents in the short history of the Panthers - near the top is Steve Smith's beating of Anthony Bright (on the plus side, it probably lowered his contract value). Well, Bright has finally gotten around to obtaining (Chris Rock Voice) Johnnie Cochran (/Chris Rock Voice) to sue Smith and, of course, the Panthers. He probably deserves some money, but I can't believe that much
  2. When you're school's best draft prospect goes undrafted, that doesn't say much about the program. It's even worse when he gets cut for being hurt.
  3. Wha' happened to Rodney Williams? The guy was the greatest punter I had ever seen when he was at Georiga Tech - we're talking consistent 60 yarders in the air. How did he not catch on in the NFL?
