Congratulations to Virgilius Alekna for winning Lithuania's 2nd medal of these Olympics (though still no gold). Only a sucker would have bet they wouldn't win more than one medal (when there are SO MANY insignificant events...)
However, there is some action on the table as I have bet the (hopefully) honorable dak $50 that Lithuania will not win the gold medal in men's basketball (heck, I even threw in women's basketball since they didn't field a team). Any team that features a UMD basketball player must be crushed.
