Since Kronheim is being exposed, I thought i'd share my tale of woe.
I thought i'd buy the Weezer DVD and Weezer 2 disc special edition blue album CD about A YEAR AGO. I went online where they had a promotion where if you buy them both, they would discount it further. They said they were currently out of stock with the CD but I could put it on order and they would send it to me and I could pick the DVD up at a store. This is where I began my decent into hell.
I show up at the store, but their "system" is down. They tell me they can just outright sell me the DVD since they have plenty in stock, but they can not credit me as having picked it up. They said I could call customer service on the next business day and they would adjust everything. I called, they said they'd do it. They did not.
I started getting emails about picking up my DVD or blah blah blah, they would strike me dead or something. I let the first one go, but after the 2nd and 3rd, I called AGAIN and told them to adjust it.
Now, the website says my CD had shipped a week and a half ago, from the city I live in. I called to ask where it is, they said it was lost. I call the next day, they said it was returned to sender. I ask them to resend they said yes. I wait a week and call AGAIN and they said it was never resent out. I ask them to do it, they say Ok.
They charge my account AGAIN. I call and complain about this and they take it back. Then a week later they inexpilcable charge me AGAIN. I call again and I'm pissed. By this point they have refused to resend the CD because they say at this point the sale is over so I would have to pay regular price. I am LIVID. I give up and i'm like fine, you win.
FOUR MONTHS LATER they inexplicably charge my account AGAIN! I call PISSED because i feel it is horrible they continue to use my bank information without my authorization. Then they make ME fill out some form and fax it in or else they won't credit my account, though i have done NOTHING to get them to charge me again.
A week later the money is back and the whole thing is done and 6 1/2 months have passed since i bought everything online.
PS. The CD sucked. I'm glad i didn't buy it. I ended up burning it from a friend anyway
PPS. I don't even think i like weezer anymore.
PPPS. I still haven't even opened the DVD
PPPPS. I was in best buy the other day and dropped off a VHS tape to be converted to DVD. They F-d that up to. And with attitude.
THE MORALE OF THE STORY IS, UNLESS IT IS WAAAAAAAAY CHEAPER OR YOU'RE MASOCHISTIC, DO NOT EVER SHOP AT BEST BUY EVER AGAIN AND NEVER EVER EVER USE THEIR ONLINE OR STORE PICK-UP OPTIONS!!!!!
