Though we forgot to post a reminder about Ben and Jerry's first ice cream cone from last week, we will take the time to point out that this afternoon from 5 to 8 Cold Stone will be giving out free birthday cake (and we will probably still not participate). Cold Stone's have been popping up all over the Cleveland and Triangle areas, as I am sure they have been all over the good ol' U.S. of A. Though their penetration will probably not match Dunkin's Donuts 90 stories over the next 6 years in the area. Watch for Cleveland's population to drop off even further after that, since we will all be well past the pleasant plumpness of longer life.
