Digital Jedi's

I was thinking I should keep this bit of information to myself since all of you rushing over to TheForce.net to find out what digital theaters are near you (since SW III, like its predecessor, was shot all in digital) will only make it harder for me to find a seat. Amazingly Cleveland and South Carolina have digital theaters, while North Carolina does not (come on, Cubes!). Another amazing tidbit is that for all it's greatness, the Arena Grand in Columbus (which is running Star Wars 24 hrs. tomorrow) does not have digital projectors apparently.

The Cinemark theater is the bomb! After a movie, you gotta go get some burgers and wings at Quaker Steak. I can't think of a better theater in the Cleveland area--although granted I haven't really been there in a while.

The Cinemark is pretty good, although the last movie I saw there was "Phantom of the Opera," so I really don't have a huge sense of how Star Wars would look on it. I'm pretty sure that there is no better theater in Cleveland.

And I agree, you have to go to Quaker Steak before hand. I will pay good money (well, not really, but I'll probably respect you even more) for photographic evidence of one of you eating the "Atomic" wings--or drinking the sauce. Don't let a certain gimp get near them, though, because they burn. Also, there's a Hoggy's there now, so don't get sidetracked.

I tried just a drop of that Atomic sauce. It's definitely not to be taken lightly. >

P.S. Webmaster: For some reason, I can't view any text on your page unless I highlight the empty space first with my mouse...

A certain T3 programmer and I tried a 6-pack of the Atomic wings when last we were in town. I made the mistake of trying to eat them slowly. Not a good idea.

I've been having that comments problem too, BTW

What browser are you using? The future is firefox. I've heard this complaint before, but I haven't sat down and tried to duplicate it. The only bug with Firefox and Moveable Type I know of is that after posting a comment, one has to refresh to view it (due to a Javascript thing).

Last night, I and a certain NP fan went to Quaker before THE movie. Despite a self-imposed time limit, we went the Tuesday all-you-can-option (downed ~21 and ~18, respectively). I could have eaten more, in a very unhealthy sort-of-way, without the time limit. They weren't offering suicidal, but considering that nothing below that was hot at all, I laugh at their atomic wings! I'm not sure if they were offering it, but we had a deadline so I didn't have time to sign any contracts without a competent lawyer present...

God, I can't sleep. NP is keeping me up (or is that the indigestion from those Quaker wings?)

WTF, I do read contracts for a living! I DON'T vouch for any competence, however.

P.S. Sooooooo much better than JLH.

P.P.S. There is a new state of the art digital theater at Crocker Park (better than the Cinemark!), and Mr. Sparkle would love the Champps next door (although it's NOT as good as the Quaker).

FYI, the completely ghetto Champp's in Sioux Falls has pretty much sold me off of that for good. Quaker Steak is a lot better.

I'm more concerned, though, about this vision of Crocker Park as the Shining City on a Hill...

Someone has to shamelessly promote Crocker Park, particularly if gimpy sells his house anytime soon (still pondering that decision).
