People don't harm People, Books harm People

While scarier, it is also funnier that this conservative website is completely serious when they list the ten most harmful books of the last two centuries. One may notice a slight American-bent since communism figures heavily into the equation as making a book harmful. I have to admit that I have never completely read any of the books on this list, or even more than a few lines, but I fear most of the judges probably haven't either. It would be nice if they had written what exactly they felt made a book harmful. In terms of deaths, one has to imagine the Qur'an and the bible must have a jump on most harmful book of the 21st century. Posted by boo at June 2, 2005 12:27 AM | TrackBack
