ESPN: Why are they sucking?

Forget that I haven't seen the big finish on PTI in weeks because I've stopped watching Sportscenter and their ingenious little plan of playing the end of PTI (the best show on TV when both Tony and Wilbon are on) during the beginning of Sportscenter is not going to make me. ESPN is truly demonstrating their suckiness now on baseball scores and it seems recently they have really taken a nose dive. Forget that the SMS scores always come at some random interval after the end of an inning, for the last couple of weeks the actual scoreboard on ESPN.com is broken or stale. Last week they didn't record a home run in the 7th inning to tie a game and just left me wondering why they were playing extra innings. Now even the gamecast and gamelog links are not showing up consistently. Are they sucking on purpose to force you to mlb.com who at least seem to do a reasonable job of keeping up-to-date? It is really hillarious now because the front page of ESPN is expounding on how Wells is sucking, but the link shows the game as 0-0. You have to go to mlb to see that the Red Sox are currently losing 5 to 0.
