Lost Independence, Lowering the Average, Plus for Portland, Sinking Serenity

Someone pointed out recently that posts have become few and far between, so unless you want an intricate breakdown of my Fantasy Football genius (the key: defense - keep your opponents from scoring), here are a few quick blurbs to pass the time:

They were far from perfect, but I did like the spunk of Independence Air. Looks like I will not be able to fly them for the forseeable future.

Not too long ago, I would have the television constantly on in the background when I got home - now my setup and time do not allow that. I am rather sure I am bringing down (ahhh, per family makes more sense - I am most definitely helping - I should read the articles first before posting) the 8 hours a day average Nielsen has recently claimed.

Seriously, I think Arrested Development is the funniest show on tv. I can see where a lot of people wouldn't, but it would be a shame if it was canceled like this article speculates. Props to Portland for being the number 1 market for the show. What cable network should try to pick it up?

This weekend I twice canceled plans to see Serenity - which I am sure is the major reason it only made $10 million at the box office - half of what I would have guessed. Either that or the reverse psychology of the flight attendants led everyone to see Flightplan.
