Your Momma's a HOYA!
I just feel bad for Virginia Tech. They were the first team to beat dook. However, somehow the devil, aka Sean Dockery, didn't get that memo. Now VT is 0-5 in the ACC.
Atleast Georgetown got the job done this weekend. And I would like to point out, UNLIKE THE FLORIDA GAME, INJURIES WERE NOT A FACTOR IN THEIR LOSS. Georgetown just outplayed them. It's great to see a prolific program such as G-Town back on the up and up. All hail JT3.

I am Hugh...
A drone has left the collective and will now be making cheeseheads. That is all.

The Internet-Load
Multichannel has
an article with some new information about
Comedy Central's Motherload - their "broadband station". I admittedly have never been to the site before today, but I do find the following list of originally programming interesting. Unfortunately, the site claims that Firefox 1.5 is not compatiable (while 1.0.7 is) so hopefully that will be straightened out soon.
- All Access: Middle Ages, a VH1 clip-show parody
- How to Live, a show about a modern dysfunctional family produced in the style of 1950s-era educational reels
- Fanboy, a live-action scripted series about an obnoxious comic-book geek
- Good God, a live action comedy about God's workplace environment
- Golden Age, an animated show revealing what happened to retired cartoon characters
- Daisy Garden Story Time, a "dark and twisted" Reading Rainbow parody
- My Wife, The Ghost, a dark parody of 1950s-era supernatural sitcoms such as My Mother the Car and Bewitched
- MotherLoad Presents, alternative comedy taped in front of a live audience at New York's Ars Nova Theater.

No, really, that's ok
Let me enter this little diatribe while it is still fresh in my mind since I think it has happened to me twice in the last two months. When one, the purchaser, goes to a retail or service establishment, the employee of the proprietor will try to up-sale something additional to what one has asked for - usually several times. Often the customer will have said no to something just prior so to seem less harsh and change it up a bit, will add a thanks to the no or say "that is ok". To clarify, while if one responds to a query by saying "ok" - that is a positive response, "that is ok" is a NEGATIVE response. If one works in the service industry, the person should a) understand the ways and customs of the culture or b) ask for clarification. Making one's customer feel guilty for a mistake the company made is not cool.

Inane Movie Trivia: #1
The trivia part of this site is far from being setup, but before I forget, here is one:
What body part of what person in what movie is said to be "the opposite of the holocaust" (in what other movie)?
