So I'm at the Hooters in Santa Monica (like you do) and I'm watching the awesome North Carolina Tarheels put the hurtin' on dook. After a little post-game celebration we start to leave the fine establishment. On the way out, my boyfriend walks past a man and his face goes completely blank. I ask him what happened and he said, "that man looks exactly like Corey Dillon." For you non-sport oriented readers, he was the star running back for the New England Patriots the past couple years and also the recipient of a Super Bowl Ring (Something Jack Delhomme will never have, but I digress). We wait for him to walk back by and sure enough, the man looks exactly like Corey Dillon. I tell my boyfriend to go up and talk to him. I say all the standard things, "when are you going to get an opoprtunity like this again", "he's not going to be upset since you are going to compliment him, "this happens to him all the time, he'll like meeting a true fan".
But yet, this does not win him over. We walk out, me forcibly as he is dragging me. We walk just passed the front window and I make him stop so we can reaccess the situation. He is 100% not budging. Then Corey Dillon's lunch friend happens out at that exact moment and I get his attention and ask, "hey, that guy you're with looks exactly like Corey Dillon." The guy smiles big and says, "looks just like him!" and walks off. I turn to my boyfriend and say, "we're doing this". So I walk back inside and walk right up to Corey Dillon and say, "Excuse me, are you Corey Dillon?" He says yes, so I start gushing about how big a fan my boyfriend is and how we just wanted to come up and shake his hand. And then he shakes our hands and starts talking to us!!! F**k all the stuff you heard about him being a troublemaker in Cincinnati, he is THE NICEST GUY. I can not say enough nice things about him. He even let us know that don't believe anything you've heard from his agent, he is RETIRED. No Junior Seau trick here. He is a stand up guy whose going out on top. YEA COREY DILLON!
Dook sucks.
Gerald Henderson should be kicked out of the rest of the season. And anyone who says Tyler shouldn't have been in the game anyway is ignorant b/c that's like saying a rape victim in a short skirt is "asking for it".
We had to take our seniors out. And granted we only play two, but once they left what's wrong with keeping tyler in? And who are these dook fans to say that the classy thing to do would be to not run up the score. When have you NOT seen dook do this? Dook NEVER takes out their starters at the end of games. And yes, this year they suck (and hopefully for forever after) but in the past they act the same way that they're whining against right now.
I've broken one dook fan's nose. And i'm not afraid to break another.
